Who should attend?

Any ghost, goblin or ghoul who dares to explore the unknown in cyberspace.

Why?

Whether you're creeping through cyberspace using a computer connected to the Internet from on or off campus, your computer is a target. Hackers lurk in cyberspace looking for credit card numbers, bank account information and any other information they can use for their own gain. It's not just money-related information they're after; once they invade a computer, intruders can use the hard disk, processor and Internet connection to attack other computers. Many personal/home computer users are especially vulnerable because they do not realize the risks of being on a network and the protections that are available to them to guard against these threats.

All ghastly ghouls (students, faculty and staff) are invited and strongly encouraged to attend as many presentation sessions as possible to learn more about protecting their computer and confidential information from the multitude of threats that lurk in cyberspace. Awesome prizes will be raffled off throughout the day.

If you don't have time to attend the sessions stop by and pick up some giveaway items and helpful information about protecting your computer and confidential information from the creatures that lurk in cyberspace.
